The first time I met Agata a friend had called me for a favor telling me that a Swedish girl was coming over to borrow my HVX camera and if I could show her how to use it. She arrived at my house wearing all black and she was fairly quiet. It took about ten minutes to go through the camera settings and menus and she didn’t ask many questions. She left and honestly I didn’t think twice about the meeting until a few days later when I saw what she had shot. I was immediately impressed. Not only did she exhibit full command of the camera’s functionality but her eye proved unique and disciplined capturing the moment in all her framings.
 
That was a few years ago before I knew her as a director and an editor. There aren’t enough adjectives to describe her filmmaking abilities and work ethic other then that she’s a rock star plain and simple. Keep your eyes open for Agata’s work for she is the next generation of talented directors who won’t be flying under the radar for long.
